Days/Time: Every week on Mon, Wed, Fri from 4:30-5:30pm / March - August 2020. Fall 2020 schedule to be announced.
Description: Yoga is a science of the mind and a system of 8 limbs. The system of yoga invites you to use all your faculties of body-mind-spirit to increase your potential and to help you understand yourself and how to harness your full potential.
During this time, yoga can help us discover greater ease, balance, and resilience within. Ultimately, yoga connects us to the divine, drawing us closer to our own higher levels of consciousness.
Each class may focus on the physical aspect of yoga (asanas, or postures), in addition to the other limbs: 1. Yama (self-restraint) 2. Niyama (observance) 3. Asana (posture) 4. Pranayama (breath control) 5. Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses) 6. Dharana (concentration) 7. Dhyana (meditation) 8. Samadhi (union)
